Gratitude & Celebration

We have some wonderful news!!! Eden Marie Roberts made her entrance into the world Tuesday, November 11, at 3:52 PM at Memorial in Savannah. She weighed 6 pounds 5.6 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Her mom is healthy and recovering from her delivery. We are overjoyed and overwhelmed that our little girl and gift from God is here! 

On behalf of our family, we are so thankful for all of your prayers, gifts, encouraging words, wisdom, and support as Abby has walked the pregnancy journey and as we have entered into parenthood. Stepping into something new and that we’ve never done before is much less intimidating when we have a support system like we do. We are so humbled that God has allowed us to be able to love this church and to be loved by this church. I can only imagine how well you’ll love Eden as she crosses your paths! Furthermore, I want to say “thank you” in advance for all of the ways you’ll continue to love us and support us in the days ahead.

Please be praying for us as we learn together to care for this beautiful baby girl. Pray for our adjustment home to go smoothly. Pray for Abby’s recovery to be steady. Pray for our rest to be multiplied. Pray for Abby and I to be able to soak up and enjoy every precious moment. Pray for wisdom for Abby and I as we adjust to a new and wonderful routine: raising a child! Pray for God’s grace to help us and empower us to be the parents that He desires us to be. We love you, church, and we (John, Abby, and Eden!) will see you soon!
