More Than Conquerors
As we enter the last week of January in this new year, we need to cling tighter than ever before to the marvelous passage of scripture in Romans 8 that we have been looking at during the month of January in our Sunday morning worship services. Pastor Brandon has encouraged us to live in the strength of the Holy Spirit and remember we are God’s children. Our hope for the future is in the glorious freedom we have as His sons and daughters, and that even now, Christ is at the right hand of God interceding for each of us who call Him Lord and Savior.
Last Sunday we were blessed by the wonderful Jubalheirs ensemble as they sang, “More Than Conquerors”. In a world that is full of strife, tension, hate, poverty, pain, and war I need the encouragement that Romans 8:37-39 offers. In a time when our nation is now seeing ungodly angry protestors bursting into places like Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota and destroying the worship of our Lord Jesus, I need to be reminded that as a child of Christ my future is secure. There is no insanity, sin, or evil that can remove me from the hand of my Lord Jesus. There is no chaos that can separate me from His love, we are conquerors in Christ.
Remaining strong in Him, Phillip
