Spiritual Affirmations
Daily we need reminders of the spiritual lessons we are learning by His Holy Word. I call these reminders affirmations because they affirm what God is doing in our lives. Affirmations are like spiritual sticky notes for the soul. They encourage us as we travel this sometimes long and dark path in life. These are the things I tell myself repeatedly until my mind finally connects with my spirit.
Some of these affirmations, you will want to memorize. Others you may want to write out on note cards and put them where you will see them throughout the day. My office is full of some of these note card affirmations, with my wife Carole as the scribe who encourages me with them. You may want to place yours on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror, your desk or filing cabinet, or your baby’s crib.
