A Word from Pastor Brandon
Three years ago, God called me to pastor this church. It was a calling that I held with deep conviction and continue to believe that God was working at that time to bring me and my family here.
Over the past three years, 64 people have joined our church; 26 of those have been by professions of faith and baptism. We served our community with benevolence. We contributed to the ministries of FCA and Promise of Hope. That is Kingdom advancement that we, as a church, did together!
This past Sunday, February 15, I announced my resignation as pastor.
This was not a decision made lightly or impulsively. It was a matter of fervent prayer. Ultimately, where God is leading me and my family, we will follow.
My hope is that, in the midst of good and bad, that my time and ministry here was used by God to draw others closer to Himself, to make others hungry for His Word, and to encourage others to share the gospel as they are going about their lives.
In other words, to be people who genuinely worship, love each other, and seek to advance God’s Kingdom.
God bless you, First Baptist Church of Glennville, and may God use you in incredible ways in the years to come.
